Dynamic Mobile Billing (DMB), a prominent payment gateway provider and carrier billing supplier for over 25 years, has always emphasised security in its designs. This month, the DMB team has achieved a significant milestone in demonstrating their commitment to this principle. We are pleased to announce that DMB is now an ISO 27001 accredited company.

In a digital era marked by payments and the sharing of personal data, many often scrutinise entities that process such information, seeking assurances regarding information security and fraud prevention. This scepticism can lead some individuals to prefer using cash, despite its inherent insecurities and lack of protection against fraud or loss.

Recognising these concerns, the DMB team aspired to contribute positively, ensuring that all their clients and their end-users have full confidence in DMB's capability to handle personal data securely and payment information with the utmost protection.
What does this accreditation signify for DMB customers?

  1. Management of Risk - Data security is vital. It's crucial to understand the risks associated with data handling and to take steps to mitigate them. Throughout the ISO certification journey, the DMB team gained insights into processes and analytical methods that focus on reducing risk from the outset, ensuring potential threats, like fraud, are identified, minimised, and managed before the development of any new product.
  2. Data Security - Every user of the DMB platform, whether intermediary or end-user, can have full trust that their data is secure and handled with the same care as DMB would want their own data treated. Achieving ISO 27001 status is not easy, and we believe that the extensive efforts DMB has made will bolster trust in digital payments.
  3. Confidence - As previously highlighted, when operating in such a sensitive sector, one primary factor driving the continuous use and adoption of digital payments will be the customer's trust in the technology. They must believe in its efficiency, security, and resilience against fraud.

In celebrating this accomplishment, it's essential to note that this isn't the end of DMB's journey. DMB remains staunchly dedicated to the future of digital payments and to setting the gold standard in information and payment security.
