Funds peak at £4,900, as DMB Chairman completes his challenge for Alder Hey!

A huge congratulations to DMB's, Chairman, Gary Corbett and his son, for completing the 4 Peaks and 4 Countries  challenge last weekend, in just 22 hours and 50 minutes!

The 4 Peaks was a brave twist on the already-gruelling 3 UK Peaks Challenge, which includes  Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon. Gary and his team decided to add in a 4th Peak, Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland, meaning that they would have to incorporate the use of helicopters and cars to logistically bring it all together!

Gary took on the challenge to support Alder Hey Children’s Charity. The charity helps to fund a range of activities and projects that are designed to enhance and improve the lives of young patients.

Gary spoke of his experience,

“Everything came together and we managed to keep to, and beat the schedule, even sneaking in two hours of sleep! Thank you to all our clients and friends for supporting the cause, which is very close to my heart.”

The fundraising for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital currently stands at £4,900,  with Gift Aid and is still climbing, as more people pledge their support!  A hugely impressive amount!  You can still donate towards Gary's efforts here.
