Meet Neil Edwards, from our Billing Team. Following the success of RideLondon 2018, he's gearing up again to take part in RideLondon 2019 !
The event will take place on 3-4th August 2019 and is the seventh edition of the games. Prudential RideLondon is the world's greatest festival of cycling and is part of the Mayor and TfL’s cycling programme, in a bid to create more safe, easy and well-connected cycle routes across the Capital and encourage more healthy and active travel.
Neil will be cycling to raise money for Bloodwise and JPC Farming. Bloodwise is the UK's biggest blood cancer charity with the mission to stop people dying from blood cancer, by investing funds in research to enable new treatments to come to market to make ' lives better, and stop blood cancers happening in the first instance.
Neil spoke of his chosen charities and said "Bloodwise is a charity which is very close to my heart after my father was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin High-Grade lymphoma in 2012. The charity was a HUGE support to the family and fortunately, my Dad is still with us today!"
Neil will also ride in aid of JPC Community Farm, which is a newly established charity that strives to provide much-needed specialist care and independently supported living options for adults with special/complex needs.
DMB are delighted to sponsor his shirt again and we wish Neil all the best for Sunday's Cycle! If you'd like to show your support and track Neil's progress visit the link below:
